Internet Operations Specialist

The Internet Operations Specialist will join the Content Propagation and Resolution team ("CPR"). CPR is responsible for running the DNS of over 10% of the Internet, as well as devising and providing support for emerging protocols on the 'Net. In this role, the Internet operations specialist will design and implement the supporting infrastructure to run name-services applications in a globally distributed environment.

The Internet Operations Specialist may also take an active lead in developing and shaping the future of the Internet by working within the Internet community to define, build and implement emerging technologies.

Senior Network Engineer

Network Operations Centre Analyst

Network Operations Centre Analyst

As a NOC Analyst you will support the Afilias registry network monitoring team to assess Network Performance on a real time basis. You will directly report to the Network Operations Center Team Leads. Additional responsibilities of this position are, but not limited to; providing technical guidance to Afilias Customer Support Team, identifying and escalating Infrastructure, Systems & Network impacting events and supporting root cause analysis efforts.

Support Associate

Afilias is currently seeking a Support Associate, who is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving customer issues as they relate to Afilias products and services. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills are a must.

This is an initial 6 month contract opportunity with potential of permanent employment.

Summary

The Support Associate is responsible for providing prompt, reliable and accurate information to a global customer base, performing first-line troubleshooting, general problem analysis and resolving customer issues.

Linux/VMware Systems and SAN Administrator

Main purpose of the position
To provide expertise in systems design, administration and 24/7 support for the server and storage infrastructure.

Key responsibilities:
In consultation with the IT operations team leader, plan and implement medium- and long-term operations strategies
Review, approve, and implement changes that pertain to the supported environments and follow defined Change Control Procedures
Plan, setup, and implement monitoring systems for errors or performance problems; troubleshoot major reported problems; perform trend analysis to anticipate capacity problems

Systems Administrator

Main purpose of the position

To support and maintain production applications, monitoring systems, systems infrastructure
and services in co-operation with other members of the Production Control team and other
Operations teams at Afilias.
